
GEORGE CLAUSEN
George Clausen was a British painter from London. He worked primarily in an Impressionist style and was best known for his paintings of rural and village life, as well as his detailed landscapes. He often painted rustic scenes featuring peasants working. Clausen was a master of using color and brush techniques to portray different types of light. His paintings “Ploughing” and “Morning in November” are exceptional examples of his naturalistic style.
