GEORGE BARBIER - Canvas Prints
George Barbier was a French illustrator from Nantes. He was a fundamental part of the Art Nouveau movement in France during the 20th century. His illustrations and artistic style were not only influential to other artists at the time, but also contributed to fashion, haute couture design, and theater trends. Barbier would even expand his artistic style to jewelry, pattern, and wallpaper design. His works often feature elegantly dressed, fashionable women. Barbier died at the height of his career in 1932, but his lasting creative vision is still apparent in art and pop culture today.
