HARALD SOHLBERG
Harald Sohlberg was a Norwegian painter from Oslo. His works belong to the Neo-Romanticism movement. Sohlberg studied art extensively throughout his life, even training under Norwegian graphic artist, Johan Nordhagen. He was inspired by the mountainous landscapes of Rondane and Røros, and often painted nighttime landscapes of these areas. Sohlberg’s use of cool color tones and detailed perspectives create a dreamy sense of space within his paintings. Some notable works of his include “Natt,” “Flower Meadow in the North,” and “Fisherman’s Cottage.”
