HENRI-JEAN GUILLAUME MARTIN - Canvas Prints
Henri-Jean Guillaume Martin was a French artist from Toulouse. He was a Post-Impressionist painter best known for his works inside of the Salle de l'Assemblée Générale in Paris. By 1889, his Pointillism works would earn him a gold medal from the Paris Salon. Martin would move to Southern France later in his artistic career, and it was there he created some of his most prominent works. “L'été ou les faucheurs,” “Les bords de la Garonne, les promeneurs ou les rêveurs,” and “Le Poète” are pieces that showcase Martin’s relaxed style and strong use of color to enhance a natural environment.
