JOSEPH CRAWHALL - Canvas Prints
Joseph Crawhall III was a British artist from Northeast England. He was a painter during the Art Nouveau movement, specializing in painting animals and birds. Crawhall was associated with the Glasgow Boys, which was a collective of artists who were influenced by Impressionism. Crawhall would travel to Morocco and Spain and experiment with different mediums and color palettes, eventually settling on using watercolors for his animal paintings. Some of his popular works are “Bullring in Algeciras,” “Aviary,” and “Spangled Cock.” Unfortunately, there are little of Crawhall’s works left today, as he would destroy any pieces he was not happy with.
