JOSEPH FARQUHARSON - Canvas Prints
Joseph Farquharson was a Scottish artist from Edinburgh. His works were a part of the Realism movement. Farquharson was primarily a landscape painter and often painted winter scenes inspired by his home in Scotland. He also liked to paint animals and townspeople in his rural landscapes. Among his most prominent artworks are "Sheep in a Snowstorm,” "Stormy Blast," and "Shortening Winter's Day is near a Close.” Interestingly, Farquharson found inspiration in Scottish literature when it came to naming his paintings.
