
JOSEPH NOEL PATON
Sir Joseph Noel Patton was a Scottish artist from Dunfermline. He was a Pre-Raphaelite painter, illustrator, and sculptor. Patton found inspiration in historical and religious themes, as well as allegory and mythical themes. He was knowledgeable about Celtic and Scottish folklore, which influenced his artistic style. "Puck and Fairies,” "The Quarrel of Oberon and Titania," and "Oberon and the Mermaid" are just some of his most famous artworks.
