JUAN DE JUANES - Canvas Prints

Vicente Juan Masip, better known as Juan de Juanes, was a significant Spanish Renaissance painter during the 16th century. He is remembered as the central-most figure of Valencian painting. De Juanes was patronized by the Catholic church and would complete panel paintings and illustrations for numerous congregations. To De Juanes, painting was a religious practice, and his works were strictly based on religious and biblical themes. “Last Supper” and “Immaculate Conception” are two of his most important works.
