LAWRENCE ALMA-TADEMA - Canvas Prints
Lawrence Alma-Tadema was a Dutch painter from Dronrijp. His works belong to the Romantic and Neoclassic movements. Tadema was inspired by figure-painting and mostly depicted women in dramatic studied poses. His portraits of women were often noted for their sensuality and charming appeal. "In the Tepidarium,” "Favorite Custom," and "Hopeful" are all standout works from Tadema. Interestingly, some of these works by Tadema would later serve as inspiration for classic Hollywood films.
